Skeleton Key Drawing

This is my first revolved section drawing. This key is fun to draw, mainly because it is one of my first "detailed" drawings. It contains a front view with a revolved section, and a removed section, drawn in Standard Decimal Format.

Stuffing Box Drawing 6-32

This is my first half section drawing. It consists of a front view, as well as the half section. It is also drawn in standard metric format.

First Blog Post

My name is Jake Levin. I am a Sophomore in Joseph Wheeler High School. The class, in which I was assigned to make this blog, is "Survey of Engineering Graphics". In the class, I expect to achieve numerous things, such as mastering different computer designing tools, like AutoCAD. I also would like to learn how helpful this will become in the future. I am taking this class, not only because I enjoy making constructing fun, and interesting object from scratch, but also to help me get the job I would like in the near future.

My father was a very successful pilot, for both the navy and the packaging company, FedEx. My father, Joel Levin, has been retired from the navy for about a little more than 4 years now, but was the Commanding Officer, the CO, of his base, within the Dobbins Airforce Base.

When I graduate from college, I plan to follow in his footsteps. I would like to fly for both the naval airforce, and FedEx. I plan to get to college with a few scholarships, if not a "Full-Ride". I plan to get a scholarship from the sport, Cross Country, but I also run in Track and Field, and swim for the Swim Team. By the end of my freshman year's Cross Country season, I was ranked in the State of Georgia. Running is my passion in life.

I would like to go to the University of Georgia, but am also looking at going to the Naval Academy.

So, please feel free to look around and comment on my post and pictures.
